Howse Named Head of Resource Agent Group
Mike Howse will serve as a senior vice president for First Extended Resource Automotive, replacing the recently departed John Luckett.

CHICAGO — Resource Automotive, a division of The Warranty Group and a nationally recognized provider of F&I solutions, has named Mike Howse as senior vice president of sales and marketing for First Extended Resource Automotive.
In this role, Howse will manage Resource Automotive’s agent network and be responsible for overseeing existing agent relationships, exploring new business opportunities, and driving growth in the organizations’ agent business, according to the announcement.
“Mike has been a highly accomplished leader within the Resource Automotive team, and I am confident that his deep industry knowledge and commitment to excellence will serve our clients well,” said Charlie Robinson, president and COO of Resource Automotive.
Howse began his career with Pat Ryan & Associates in the late 1980s as an F&I specialist. After leaving Aon in the early 1990s, he returned to Resource Automotive in 2009 as vice president of profit development and served as vice president of business development before being named as vice president of First Extended in 2012. He replaces John Luckett, who recently left Resource Automotive to pursue a new opportunity.
