AUSTIN, Texas--Innovative Aftermarket Systems and Dent Zone International have joined forces to provide dealership nationwide with The Auto Body Guard Program, a service agreement to remove door dings from vehicles.
The Auto Body Guard provides paintless dent repair (PDR) to fix door dings and small dents, eliminating the need for full-fledged body shop repairs. PDR uses specialized hand tools to manipulate and flex metal back to its original form.
With the Auto Body Guard program, dealers can participate in the discounted used-vehicle reconditioning program and certification on new vehicles. The dealer gets a 90-day service agreement and later transfers it to the customer. After the transfer, F&I can upgrade the customer to a multiyear service contract and bring in more profits.
"This partnership comes at a time when F&I departments are losing profits due to cancelable product sales, such as GAP insurance," said Jeff Jagoe, IAS' senior vice president of sales. "We are seeing 50 percent sales penetration on a non-cancelable F&I product that increases customer satisfaction because paintless dent removal offers consumers a product they can relate to since no one likes door dings. PDR is a strong F&I product that requires no investment and no installation from our dealership customers."
Dent Zone's marketing materials and service agreement forms are available immediately for IAS general agents and dealership customers.
