IAS to Demonstrate New Tablet Software at 2011 Industry Summit
IAS announced it will be demonstrating its new SmartPad software tool at F&I and Showroom’s Industry Summit 2011. The tablet-based software will be featured on Apple iPads and Motorola Xoom devices.
AUSTIN, Texas — IAS announced that they will feature a hands-on demonstration of its tablet-based software, called SmartPad, on multiple tablet devices during F&I and Showroom’sIndustry Summit 2011.
IAS will showcase its new software tool in booth 119. The aftermarket program provider also is a lead sponsor of the conference, scheduled for Sept. 28-29 at the Las Vegas Hilton. The company also is sponsoring the magazine’s new F&Idol contest, an F&I talent search powered by IAS’s SmartEye transaction-based video and audio recording.
“We are pleased to play a large role at the upcoming F&I Industry Summit, which is an ideal venue to demonstrate our recently released tablet-based software, SmartPad.” said Bob Corbin, president and CEO of IAS. “Our agents and dealers alike have found the technology to be both soundly designed and exciting to use at dealerships.”
Additionally, IAS will be demonstrating their EZ-Register solution, a Web-based application that allows dealer business offices to electronically register customers.. According to the company, EZ-Register prevents a majority of classification and rating errors, and, in many cases, requires less data entry than standard IAS report forms.
“EZ-Register is a fast, free and easy way for the business office to remit the correct amount of money for each contract,” said Matt Nowicki, director of information technology at IAS. “In addition to a streamlined contract remittance, EZ-Register helps dealerships eliminate negative commissions due to ratings or other errors.”
