ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Identifix has equipped its Direct Hit vehicle diagnostic tool with a new search-by-VIN tool. The new feature allows subscribing service departments to look up vehicle information by typing at least 10 of the vehicle’s 17-digit VIN.
The online diagnostic tool also features a new auto-suggest tool, which offers a list of applicable vehicles once a technician enters model and year information. Both features ensure shop owners have the exact diagnostic and repair information they need for the specific vehicle in their service bay, according to the company.
