JM Family’s Southeast Toyota Distributors Names VP of IT
Southeast Toyota Distributors, a subsidiary of JM Family Enterprises, has promoted Jose Curtis to vice president of information technology.

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. — Southeast Toyota Distributors, a subsidiary of JM Family Enterprises, has promoted Jose Curtis to vice president of information technology. In his new role, Curtis will support innovation and explore new ways to continuously improve the company’s information systems and operations.
Curtis joined JM Family Enterprises in 2011 as a director of PMO for one of its other primary divisions. He was promoted to assistant vice president of PMO for Southeast Toyota in 2013, where he led a redefining initiative that helped streamline efficiencies and strengthen business performance.
Curtis’ 22 years of experience — including 13 years as vice president of IT and shared services at Southern Wine & Spirits — combined with his collaborative style for achieving results will help enhance Southeast Toyota’s technological resources.
Curtis attended the Military Academy of Nicaragua and then earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Miami. He resides in Pembroke Pines with his wife Esther and their three children.
