Lisa Sipe Joins AFS Acceptance as CIO
In her new post on the AFS executive management team, Lisa Sipe will lead all aspects of IT, including information systems, technology strategy, infrastructure and security.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — AFS Acceptance, a full-service auto finance company serving the subprime auto finance market, has hired Lisa Sipe as CIO. In that role, Sipe will lead all aspects of IT, including information systems, technology strategy, infrastructure and security.
“We are excited to welcome Lisa to fill this important role on our executive team,” said Scot Seagrave, president of AFS Acceptance. “Lisa brings a blend of vision, strategy, and execution to deliver high-performance IT solutions, which we will leverage toward our bottom-line results.”
Prior to joining AFS, Sipe spent 10 years as CIO for Global Knowledge in Cary, N.C., where she was responsible for all aspects of the company’s information technology organization. She also served as vice president of information systems for American Power Conversion, a manufacturer of uninterruptible power supplies. Sipe began her career as a naval officer and earned degree in mathematics from the United States Naval Academy.
“I am very excited to be a part of the AFS team, contributing my leadership experience and technology strategy to continue building a first-class organization,” Sipe said.
