CLEVELAND — National Automotive Experts (NAE) hired Greg Grimes as its dealer development specialist. He will be responsible for the company’s dealer development and training needs.
Grimes was previously a district manager for DealerTrack.
He started in the auto industry at the age of 12 washing cars for his grandfather’s Chevrolet store, and since then, has held a variety of positions in the dealership. He was in the top 5 percent of HSBC’s U.S. sales managers, a role he held prior to joining DealerTrack.
“With my previous experience not only with DealerTrack, but actually working in many roles in a dealership, I felt that NAE was the perfect fit for me. I will be able to utilize my skills and talents in assisting dealers in obtaining higher level profits both on the front- and back-end of their stores,” said Grimes. “The most exciting part about this new opportunity is NAE’s full product lineup. There isn’t really anything I can’t provide a dealership.”
“Greg is going to be a very strong addition to our team,” said Bob Mancuso, executive vice president at NAE. “His energy, desire to make a difference, and of course, his ability to be in the top 10 percent of DealerTrack’s district managers will make this a win-win for everyone, most importantly our dealership clients.”

For dealer-owned reinsurance entities, avoiding volatility entirely can mean falling behind inflation and missing market rebounds that drive long term surplus growth. Missing just a handful of strong market days can materially impact cumulative returns—an important reminder for long horizon trust and investment strategies.
