SOUTHFIELD, Mich. -- RouteOne LLC appointed Craig Stokum as its director of sales. Stokum was the team leader for Chase Automotive Finance in developing DealerTrack.
Stokum is a 19-year veteran in financial management, product development, and sales and marketing, most of it in the auto lending market. He will be responsible for establishing and developing long-term relationships with finance sources interested in integrating with RouteOne.
At Chase, Stokum led a team in creating the vision, design and strategic plan for DealerTrack's launch. He procured equity investors for the business -- including Wells Fargo, WFS Financial and AmeriCredit -- and also was DealerTrack's vice president of sales, marketing and product development.
Prior to his work at DealerTrack, Stokum held various roles within Chase Automotive Finance, focusing on finance and product management. During his tenure at Chase, he focused on introducing Web-based technology into the business by leading the development of a new information-based business system.
Stokum most recently served as business development and strategic alliances manager for the newly merged Chase/Bank One small business unit of JPMorgan Chase.
"It's great to be able to contribute at this level in a company I believe is well positioned to lead the next wave of change in automotive finance," said Stokum.
