Wells Fargo Auto Finance was named the Non-Captive Lender of the Year at the 2007 F&I Technology Conference and Expo in Las Vegas. This is the second year in a row that Wells Fargo Auto Finance has received this honor.

The award, sponsored by RouteOne, was created to “recognize the outstanding service and excellence lenders have provided to dealers around the country” said Mike Jurecki, CEO of RouteOne. “We are proud to honor Wells Fargo Auto Finance, who possesses, as do all the nominees, the dedication and vision needed to compete in the sometimes unpredictable world of auto finance. Congratulations to them on this prestigious award.”

Votes were cast via F&I magazine’s Website from July to August 2007. There were a total of 1,043 votes and Wells Fargo Auto Finance received double the amount of votes of the next closest nominee.

Gary Lorenz, president of Wells Fargo Auto Finance, said, “We are honored and very proud to receive this award, especially because we were chosen by our dealers. This comes at a great time for us, following the launch of our new Full Spectrum Pricing Program in August. The new program allows us to increase our reach as a full spectrum lender by giving our dealers more options for more of their business. This program will help us continue to be the lender of choice next year, to make it three years in a row, and for years to come.”
