HOUSTON — In a verdict that took less than an hour to decide, a Houston Jury found that a General Motors ignition switch in a 2007 Saturn Sky did not cause a 2011 crash that killed one person and injured another, according to USA Today.

The plaintiff’s, Zachary Stevens, 2007 Saturn Sky was among the nearly 2.6 million small cars GM recalled in 2014 due to an ignition switch that was poorly designed, according to USA Today. The faulty design, would sometimes allow the switch to be bumped from “on” to “accessory” position from the weight on a key chain or accidental contact with the driver’s leg, the publication added.

This is the second case related to the defective ignition switches that GM has won this year.
