Fletcher Jones Targets Millennials With New Car-Buying App

The mobile app allows customers of the group's Mercedes-Benz stores to select their vehicle, the dealership from which to buy, apply for financing or a lease, and then take their approval to the dealership to pick up their vehicle.

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. — Fletcher Jones Motorcars announced the launch of a new mobile app designed to attract millennial buyers to its Mercedes-Benz dealerships. .

Through the app, which is powered by FinTech firm AutoGravity, users will be able to select the vehicle and the dealership from which to buy. They can also customize the terms of their loan or lease, and apply for indirect financing with AutoGravity partner finance sources. Once all those steps are completed, users can take their approval to the selected showroom to pick up their Mercedes-Benz.

Based in Irvine, Calif., AutoGravity uses proprietary technology to digitize the financing process and car shoppers, finance sources, and dealers. AutoGravity's collaboration with leading banks and captive finance sources provides users with up to four personalized auto finance offers. The FinTech firm offers its smartphone-based car sales and financing experience with AutoGravity-branded iOS, Android and Web apps, and partners with select OEM, finance sources and dealership brands to offer branded experiences to their customers.

Both FJ Drive and AutoGravity are available for download on Apple devices running iOS 8.4 or higher from the App Store and Android devices running Android 4.1 or higher from Google Play.
