ORLANDO, Fla. — Industry Summit will continue to consider pitches for Technology Shootout until next Wednesday, Aug. 1, organizers announced. The event will be held Oct. 8–10 at the Caribe Royale Orlando in Orlando, Fla., with Technology Shootout scheduled to commence at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9.
Show chair David Gesualdo said the new feature has sparked interest among providers in numerous categories, including fintech, mobility, website and social media development, inventory management, and more.
“We were hoping for new and intriguing ideas from a cross-section of the industry, and so far, that is exactly what we have seen,” said Gesualdo, publisher of F&I and Showroom and Auto Dealer Today. “We look forward to reviewing more entries and putting on a show to remember.”
Organizers will select the top 10 entries based on the topic’s value to attendees and its industry-changing potential. Each finalist will have 10 minutes of stage time followed by a real-time audience vote. Companies and individuals are invited to submit an idea in the form of a 500-word (max.) description via email by midnight ET next Wednesday, Aug. 1.
More information about Industry Summit 2018 is available at the event’s website. To discuss sponsorship and exhibition opportunities, contact David Gesualdo at (727) 947-4027 or via email.
