ADESA Names New GMs at 3 Auctions
ADESA has appointed Brian Wong, Mark Melton, and Eric Carpenter to the general manager post at its Flint, Las Vegas, and Colorado Springs locations.

CARMEL, Ind. — ADESA (div. KAR Auction Services Inc.) announced the appointment of new general managers at three auction locations: Brian Wong at ADESA Flint (Mich.), Mark Melton at ADESA Las Vegas, and Eric Carpenter at ADESA Colorado Springs (Colo.).
“We’re especially pleased with this group of new auction leaders because it demonstrates both our deep bench strength and our appeal to outside candidates,” said Srisu Subrahmanyam, chief operating officer at ADESA. “Brian has built a stellar reputation while moving up the ladder at ADESA Flint, Mark has been an outstanding addition to our general manager ranks since joining ADESA in 2016, and Eric was drawn to our vibrant, growing organization by our commitment to continuously enhance the customer experience.”

Wong, previously the assistant general manager at ADESA Flint, has also served at that location as general sales manager and outside sales representative. Prior to joining ADESA, he worked at Fiat Chrysler in international product planning and brand operations and at Ford Motor Co. in marketing, sales, and services.

Melton has been in the auction business for 20 years and has worked in all facets of the industry. He had served as general manager at ADESA Northwest in Eugene, Ore., since 2013; ADESA acquired and renamed the auction in 2016. Prior to his promotion to general manager there, he was fleet lease manager and general sales manager.

Carpenter has spent his entire career in the auto remarketing industry. Prior to joining ADESA, he was with Enterprise Holdings for 24 years, serving most recently as group fleet manager for Colorado and southern Wyoming. He also served as remarketing manager of sales and operations and fleet strategy manager.
