AFIP introduced regional certification boot camps in January 2014. “The boot camp model has been highly successful,” said David Robertson, executive director of the association. “An attendee at the Bossier City, La., session said it best, ‘Until now, the regulations were just words on a page. This session made them come to life and gave them relevance to what I do every day.’”

The AFIP recommends that boot camp attendees study the certification course material for two to three weeks prior to the session.

The special Industry Summit room rate at Paris Las Vegas is available to Boot Camp attendees. When booking, attendees should ask for the Industry Summit rate.
