AmeriCredit Launches ``One Click'' Web Site; Customers Can Apply for Auto Loans or Access Accounts Online
AmeriCredit Corp. has unveiled its redesigned Web site that provides simple, "one click" navigation to millions of current customers and potential car buyers. Based on user feedback, AmeriCredit incorporated features like real-time account access and online payment options desired by current AmeriCredit customers. Potential customers can research loan criteria, auto values, and submit an online loan application. AmeriCredit said can make a loan decision in just minutes.
"The goal for redesigning AmeriCredit's Web site was to arm customers with relevant information," said Michael R. Barrington, chief executive officer of AmeriCredit. "Informed people make better decisions, and we want to support both current and potential customers with tools to improve their car-buying and loan experience. Making customer account information easy to find meets our customers' needs with up-to-date information. Access to account data should be like turning on a light--it's there when you need it."
AmeriCredit's Web site also provides enhanced features to auto dealers, journalists, investors and career seekers with relevant information just one click away from AmeriCredit's home page at www.americredit.com.
