"ARKONA's new vehicle scanning solution provides time and money savings for our family of dealerships at which we inventory over 4,000 vehicles and sell over 1,600 vehicles each month," said John Schomburg, systems director, Woodhouse Auto Family. "Inventory checks and processing vehicle arrivals are simple and accurate. We no longer have to worry about inaccurate VIN entry and the long hours our employees were spending walking the lots."

ARKONA says its vehicle scanning solution is totally integrated with its Web service products and its dealer management system and is able to read automotive industry standard bar code formats. The company says its scanning solution eliminates tedious manual input and simplifies the verification process involved in taking vehicle inventories and updating the physical location of vehicles on the dealership lot.

"Our high-volume used-car superstores have been more productive and efficient with ARKONA's vehicle scanning module," said Jason Eldridge, general manager and director of operations, Driver's Way Inc. "We have saved money by going with ARKONA. The new scanning product provides additional dollar savings and faster, more accurate flooring checks. We plan to install the product at all of our superstores."

The turnkey ARKONA vehicle scanning solution is available on an enterprise-wide basis for under $10,000. Included with the solution are a scanner, printer, labels and integration to the executive management portion of ARKONA's dealership Web services.
