Chrome Systems Corp., provider of automotive data, configuration technology and commerce solutions has teamed up with eVox Productions, LLC, provider of interactive automotive imaging, to bring high quality automotive images to dealership Web sites.

The high quality interactive images in eVox's Automotive Image Library(TM) (AIL) will be combined with Chrome's online research and pricing tools to help attract and retain auto shoppers to dealer Web sites. The AIL(TM) includes interactive 360 degree images and still images of the interior and exterior, as well as a profile image of each vehicle in all available colors. This will enable online auto shoppers to view virtually every detail of the vehicles from dashboards to door handles, according to the companies.

"Consumers today expect dealer Web sites to provide excellent vehicle images," said eVox's CMO Peter Avildsen. "The Automotive Image Library(TM) is the highest quality and most comprehensive source for images."

The images will be incorporated into Chrome's web based vehicle configuration and pricing tool, Chrome Carbook(R), making the eVox images easily accessible to auto dealership Web sites. Implementation is quick and simple, easing set-up for dealers and their Web site designers.

"This level of high quality, interactive vehicle imaging has not been within the reach of most dealership Web sites in the past," said David Mingle, Chrome's president. "We're excited about this partnership with eVox, and the ability to bring this service to our dealers and displaying it to them at the upcoming NADA Convention."
