NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Web services provider Dealerskins, a division of Dominion Enterprises, has announced that senior Web developer Steve “Cutter” Blades is a contributing author for Learning Ext JS ($39.99, PackT Publishing), a new book about building dynamic Websites.

"Cutter possesses a true passion for developing web applications and a vast skill-set in web development technologies to back up that passion," said Aaron West, development manager at Dealerskins. "It’s been a pleasure to watch him grow from a talented web developer to a team leader, industry conference speaker, and now a contributing author for a book about leading Internet technology."

Learning Ext JS offers innovative ways of building Web applications with Ext JS, creating interfaces that more closely mimic those of desktop applications while integrating Web-available data and the “data anywhere” ability provided on the Web. The book’s publishers found Blades through his blog, Cutter’s Crossing, where he writes about all things technology, particularly about ColdFusion and Ext JS.

"All of the members of the Dealerskins development team are highly active within the global development community," Cutter says about his coworkers. "Many of us maintain blogs about the various areas of development, some contribute to several different technology-related publications and a few of us have been asked to speak at a few national professional conferences."

Blades and the rest of his team are active members of the Nashville ColdFusion Users Group and many of them contribute to open source projects.

"We at Dealerskins are very fortunate to have some of the best technical talent in the country," said Eric Brown, general manager at Dealerskins. "Cutter is at the top of that list."
