DealersLink’s New Site to Compete With Cars.com, TrueCar
DealersLink will be entering the retail classified space with a new website it will showcase at this month’s NADA Convention & Expo. According to company officials, the site will promote ‘dealership prestige’ utilizing cloud-based and mobile app technologies.
LAS VEGAS — At this month’s NADA Convention & Expo, DealersLink will be offering its dealer members a sneak peak of MotorCloud.com, a new consumer retail site that will compete with sites like TrueCar.com and Cars.com with a dealer-friendly approach.
According to company officials, MotorCloud.com leverages DealersLink’s deep history in automotive software innovation, as well as its existing group of dealer members to disrupt the online retail consumer space.
“DealersLink was built on innovations that bring value to dealers. We’re incredibly excited about MotorCloud because we’ve now entered the retail classified space, so we’re bringing value not only to our dealers, but their customers,” said DealersLink CEO Mike Goicoechea.
MotorCloud utilizes 2016 cloud-based and mobile app technologies to streamline the automotive buying experience with a focus on promoting dealership prestige. The site has been under development for more than three years and will be available to DealersLink Members late summer 2016.
DealersLink has a history of first-to-market innovation, including the first dealer-to-dealer trading platform, mobile VIN scanning breakthroughs, a cloud-based multi-book evaluator, a no-fee live auction, and cloud-based cameras. Officials said MotorCloud will pave the way toward new tools for dealers and retail consumers.
“We are allowing our members first-mover access to the product, and are providing $1,000 advertising credit for each year they have been a DealersLink member,” Goicoechea noted. “Our members always get first priority when it comes to new product launches and other innovations coming out of our R&D team.”
DealerLink will be showcasing the new site in Booth No. 6457N at the NADA Convention & Expo. For more, visit www.dealerslink.com.
