WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — GWC Warranty, a provider of vehicle service contracts and related finance and insurance products sold through automotive dealers, has announced the expansion of its headquarters.

GWC’s state-of-the-art facility has been expanded to almost 20,000 square feet. The new space was built adjacent to the existing area in Coal Street Park in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. Officially unveiled on Dec. 17, the new 3,000 square-foot area features numerous work stations and private offices, all equipped with advanced technology and communication equipment.

“We’re extremely pleased to be able to expand our facility to continue to offer our employees an energized work environment,” said Rob Glander, CEO and president of GWC Warranty. “Building out this space allows us to accommodate new talent to help us further support the needs of our dealers and their customers.”

The expansion is one of many updates for the company this year. In July, GWC announced an expanded product offering, including a Certified Pre-Owned Program and the GWC Elite Dealer Program to provide its top dealers with exclusive benefits. The company now offers a Dealer Portal with e-contracting capabilities to help dealers remit contracts and get back to selling cars faster than ever before, officials said.

“Upgrading our talent, our products, our tools and our facility were steps needed to continue to deliver on our promise to our dealer partners,” explained Glander. “We’ve made these changes to continue to help them sell more cars by giving their car shoppers the confidence to become car buyers.”

The expanded facility was designed by Highland Associates and built by Quandel Construction Group, Inc.
