Hotchkiss Named Partner at Hudson Cook

Hanover, Md.Hudson Cook LLP, a nationwide provider of legal compliance services for the financial services industry, recently announced the addition of Lynette Hotchkiss as a partner at the firm’s Hanover, Md. office. Ms. Hotchkiss will focus her practice on federal and state consumer financial services laws.
Before joining Hudson Cook, Ms. Hotchkiss worked as SVP, senior legal counsel for Mavent Inc. She served on the company’s Executive Management Team and managed Mavent’s Product Legal Team, overseeing the legal integrity of Mavent’s compliance products. Ms. Hotchkiss’ legal career has focused on consumer finance, corporate, and general business law. She began specializing in regulatory compliance for financial institutions more than 20 years ago.
Ms. Hotchkiss is a graduate of Willamette University School of Law and is a member of the Alaska, Hawaii, and Oregon state bars. She is a member of the American Bar Association’s section on business law. Additionally, Ms. Hotchkiss is the immediate past chair of the Truth in Lending Subcommittee of the Consumer Financial Services Committee. She frequently speaks and writes articles on Truth in Lending and other regulatory compliance issues and on the benefits of using technology to comply with federal and state lending requirements.
