JM Family No. 32 on FORTUNE’s “100 Best Companies to Work For”
For the 15th consecutive year, JM Family Enterprise is listed on FORTUNE magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For.” This year, the automotive company lands in the No. 32 slot.
DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. —JM Family Enterprises Inc. was ranked No. 32 on FORTUNE magazine's 2013 list of the “100 Best Companies to Work For” in America. This marks JM Family’s 15th consecutive year on the list.
“We are honored to be recognized as one of the nation’s best workplaces for 15 consecutive years,” said Colin Brown, president and CEO of JM Family. “Our founder Jim Moran built JM Family on the philosophy that associates are the company’s most important asset, and that principle continues to be the driving force in our success. Our ranking represents the hard work and dedication of our more than 3,800 associates.”
Two-thirds of the company’s score is based on responses to an anonymous survey sent to 1,664 randomly selected associates in the United States. The remainder is determined by a thorough evaluation of the organization’s overall culture.
JM Family has been on the list every year since first applying in 1999. The privately held company is often recognized for its associate-focused work environment emphasizing work/life balance, outstanding benefits with a comprehensive health and wellness program, and giving back to the communities where its associates live and work.
