ATLANTA — Manheim promoted Mandy Savage to general manager of Manheim Detroit. In this role, Savage will be responsible for leading auction activities, improving customer service and driving business efficiencies.

With Detroit being home to the top U.S. auto manufacturers, Savage will build upon the location’s strong manufacturer partnerships and innovative customer solutions. Savage, who previously served as assistant general manager at Manheim Palm Beach, will report to Randy Beil, Manheim’s market vice president for the North Central Market.

“In her previous role, Mandy has continued to deliver solid business performance, exceptional customer service and inspiring employee engagement,” Beil said. “Her high energy, innovative leadership style and strong relationship-building skills will further complement the great work already being done at Manheim Detroit.”

Over the past two years, Savage and her team beat operational efficiency goals and delivered double-digit customer experience scores. During her tenure at Manheim Palm Beach, she held two of the most successful One Hundred Grander Sales in its history, including the sale of a 2008 Bugatti Veyron for $1 million, the highest-selling auction vehicle on record for Manheim.

Prior to her position as assistant general manager, Savage served as director of best practices for Manheim Digital, and held roles as manager of online training and sales executive for OVE.com.  In addition to completing a variety of leadership workshops and training, Savage holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Mississippi.
