According to Manheim, more than 1,500 dealers have signed up for Manheim’s MyAccount service.

The company says MyAccount is a new way for dealers to manage business at Manheim Auctions, whether they’re conducting business at one auction or several. Dealers have access to their business account information at any Manheim auction online in real-time 24 hours a day, seven days a week – at no charge.

“The response we’ve already received from dealers has been very exciting for Manheim,” said Joe Luppino, chief operating officer of Manheim Interactive. “We were optimistic that the service would become popular, and with 1,500 dealers already signed up, our optimism continues to grow. It’s clear that dealers like the flexibility MyAccount provides and the way the service can help them manage their business with us.”

Information on MyAccount is password-protected, and dealer principals can limit the individuals who have access to this financial information. In addition, dealers can now submit payments online. Dealers who do not want to make payments online have the ability to create custom invoices that can be printed and mailed to the respective auctions. Dealers are also able to access information regarding balances owed to the auction(s) from the Account Balance pages, according to Manheim.

“Dealers need options and uncomplicated ways to access the information they need from auctions,” said Luppino. “At the same time, they want secure transactions and the peace of mind that goes with it. These initiatives fall in line with Manheim’s goal to make it easier for dealers to do business with our auctions. Gauging by the initial response we’ve received, MyAccount accomplishes that goal, and we’ll continue to look for ways to better serve our dealers.”

Dealers wanting more information on Manheim Online’s MyAccount should call Customer Service at 800-377-4343.
