Market Scan Names CFO

Market Scan Information Systems, the source of Profitcenter, a solution automobile retailers utilize to automate their sales and financial transactions, announced the appointment of Bruce A. Zeedik to the new position of CFO. Mr. Zeedik will be responsible for the financial operations of the company and will focus on expanding and enhancing the company’s fiscal infrastructure and processes as it moves into a new phase of growth.



“As Market Scan expands its market focus and brings advanced solutions to customers, we will enter a new stage of our business that will include explosive growth,” said Ron Means, CEO. “We realize that supporting our customers and partners through this expansion requires new and enhanced processes and increasingly automated internal systems. Bruce’s depth of experience in working with companies as they leapfrog to their next phase of development will assure that we continue to set the tone for best practices in technology, service, and support.”

The company says Mr. Zeedik has earned a reputation for excellence in aligning internal financial processes and infrastructure with aggressive growth plans in the technology, consumer, healthcare and B2B markets. Prior to Market Scan, he worked as CFO for Staub Metals Corporation where he designed and implemented new business processes, negotiated financing options, and automated accounting, finance, and human resource functions.



As vice president and corporate controller for Merisel, Inc., Mr. Zeedik re-engineered the company’s corporate accounting and financial systems. Prior to that he served as vice president, finance, for JBL Professional where he was responsible for all finance, accounting and MIS functions.



“Market Scan’s focus on providing one software solution which automates the sales and finance process for its customers in the automotive retail market, combined with its strong financial performance, have provided a solid platform for growth and market expansion,” commented Mr. Zeedik. “I welcome the challenge of further automating Market Scan’s internal processes, and expanding our existing infrastructure to ensure the company is prepared for the challenges accompanying successful growth.”



Mr. Zeedik received his bachelor’s of business administration from the University of California, Los Angeles, and his MBA in Finance from the University of Southern California. He is a certified public accountant and a founding member of the Financial Executives Forum of Los Angeles.
