MCLEAN, Virginia — NADA University, the education and training arm of the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA), announced the launch of an all-new annual NADA Dealership Workforce Study. It will be made available this summer and will feature a variety of new reports.

The expanded study will capture, analyze and tabulate dealership workforce data from calendar year 2011. It replaces the biennial NADA Compensation Study, and features the following:

• A variety of report options, including individual and enhanced comparative dealer reports, statewide reports, OEM comparative reports, 20 Group composite reports and database subscriptions.

Only NADA and American Truck Dealers (ATD) members are eligible to participate in the study. There is no cost to participate and only participating dealers will be able to receive the complimentary reports or the option to purchase the optional reports with additional detail. Only a participating dealership will see its own data, as all other data will be aggregated to protect dealership privacy.

NADA University has teamed up with the leading automotive retail research and consulting firm DeltaTrends, which is handling data collection and analysis for the workforce study. DeltaTrends was selected for its strong reputation in the auto industry and prior experience in providing this type of information to OEMs and public/private dealer groups to augment the NADA Compensation Study.

“It’s especially rewarding to work with NADA on such a large-scale study that will yield a level of information and data on the dealership workforce that is truly groundbreaking,” said Ted Kraybill, president and founder of DeltaTrends.
