OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Zurich, a property and casualty insurance provider, has announced an alliance with Automobile Protection Corporation (APCO), an independent marketer and administrator of vehicle service contracts and related aftermarket services and benefits. Zurich will provide the insurance backing for many of APCO’s products, including its popular vehicle service contracts.
"Zurich's financial strength along with its highly-respected track record and commitment to serving the specialized needs of automotive businesses enhance APCO's commitment to providing services and benefits that help customers retain the 'new car experience' for as long as they own their vehicle," said APCO President John Lee. "Aligning with Zurich also allows us to continue our strategic initiative of providing leading edge benefits and services backed by high-quality insurance sources."
"Zurich is excited to create this long-term relationship that maintains each company's unique identity and independence," said Dennis Kane, executive vice president of Zurich's Programs & Direct Markets’ business unit. "It's been a pleasure to work out this complex relationship and agreement with APCO.
