Reynolds Adds Functionality to ERA-IGNITE DMS
Reynolds and Reynolds Co. has announced a number of new functions and enhancements available for the company’s ERA-IGNITE dealership management system.
DAYTON, Ohio — Reynolds and Reynolds Co. has announced a number of new functions and enhancements available for the company’s ERA-IGNITE dealership management system (DMS).
Each ERA-IGNITE application features an advanced graphical user interface (GUI) and architecture, according to Reynolds. The DMS system also uses a Windows-based design that reduces the number of keystrokes and screens it takes for users to complete business transactions.
“Reynolds is committed to staying on the forefront of developing the products and services that help dealerships operate their businesses more effectively and improve the experience of their customers,” said Ron Lamb, president of Reynolds and Reynolds. “The new functions and enhancements in ERA-IGNITE are the latest examples of our capabilities to deliver products that improve a dealership’s operating efficiencies and provide more insightful analytics about the dealer’s business. It’s one more way to help dealers transform how they work inside the dealership as they serve customers more efficiently and effectively.”
One of the newer features for the DMS, Retail Management Intelligence, offers standard application reports and user-defined reports for the dealership. The Dashboard Reporting feature also offers up-to-the-minute snapshots of dealership departments and critical business processes, according to Reynolds.
The company also has added new and used vehicle posting screens in Accounting, a new service application to help dealers better manage service appointments and the Technician Dispatching application.
Enhancements to ERA-IGNITE were unveiled at the 2012 National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) in Las Vegas. For more information, visit www.reyrey.com.
