ADESA Marketplace App Released For Android
ADESA’s Marketplace mobile app is now available for Android users after being exclusive to iOS since last September, the auction company announced.
CARMEL, Ind. — ADESA’s Marketplace mobile app is now available for Android users after being exclusive to iOS since last September, the company announced.
The Marketplace app can be used to find, research, price and purchase inventory located online and at auctions from a dealer’s phone. The app allows a dealer to search all ADESA inventories at all locations to better find the right vehicle.
With the GPS function, dealers can also determine a vehicle’s location on an auction lot and using their smartphone’s camera, they can scan the VIN number to view a vehicle’s condition and history reports. The Marketplace app also allows dealers to research vehicle pricing with ADESA’s Market Guide and track vehicles of interest. Once a decision has been made, a dealer can buy a vehicle from their device without time or location restraints.
“We prioritized the release of the Marketplace mobile app for our dealers who use Android devices, because we’ve seen what a great advantage the app’s functionality gives to dealers, on and off the auction lot,” said Stéphane St-Hilaire, president and CEO of ADESA.
The Marketplace app works with ADESA’s LiveBlock app to connect all customers with all ADESA auction locations, but LiveBlock is currently only available on iOS. Both apps are free to download on the ADESA website and the LiveBlock app will be released for Android later this year.
