LONG BEACH, Calif. — izmocars, an interactive media producer for the automotive industry, announced today that Gregg Stallings has joined the company in an executive role. He will oversee all stock sales and business development involving interactive media for the company’s photo libraries izmoStudio and izmoStock, as well as its interactive video and CGI brand, izmotion.

With more than 20 years of experience as a veteran executive of the image licensing business, Stallings brings a vast amount of expertise in sales management, business development, and strategic partnership to his new role. As the director, Stalling’s focus will be on growing and launching new offerings through izmoStudio.

“I began with automotive and am thrilled to return to my roots. The projects and products we’re developing to provide video and interactive properties at izmoStudio to dealerships, manufacturers, and allied partners is groundbreaking,’ said Stallings. “I look forward to partnering with forward-thinking automotive partners ready to amaze their customers with interactive and exciting vehicle marketing.”

Starting his career with Esquire magazine and Whittle Communications, Stallings produced specialized print magazines for Nissan and BMW. After relocating to Los Angeles in the early 1990s, Stallings became involved in commercial and entertainment film and photography licensing for The Image Bank, a Kodak Corporation.

Hired away by Corbis, a photography repository wholly owned by Bill Gates, Stallings rose quickly through the ranks and soon headed up sales, customer service and all research activities for the Americas. He also supervised seven acquisitions and integrations. After Corbis, Stallings went on to found the WireImage Creative collection for MediaVast, which was acquired by Getty Images in 2008.

“We’re thrilled to have Gregg on our team and his obvious knowledge and experience in the image space speaks for itself,” said Tej Soni, CEO of izmocars. “We’re ready to shake up the industry with groundbreaking products and offerings as we head into 2016 and Gregg is a big part of that push.”
