MISSISSAUGA, Ontario — Dealertrack today announced the appointment of Richard Evans to the title of vice president and general manager of Dealertrack Canada. According to company officials, Evans officially takes the helm of Dealertrack Canada on April 25.
Evans joins Dealertrack from Davis & Henderson (D&H), where he most recently served as vice president of collateral management solutions. Evan, who joined the company following the purchase of ASSET Inc. in 2011, holds a bachelor’s of science degree in pure mathematics and statistical sciences from the University of Western Ontario.
According to Dealertrack officials, Evans will initially work with Michael Collins, senior vice president at Dealertrack, as he transitions toward retirement. Following Collins’ retirement, Evans will work with Mark Furcolo, senior vice president of lender solutions at Dealertrack, and Maria Soklis, president of Cox Automotive Canada, to continue the integration between Dealertrack and Cox Automotive.
“We are fortunate to have such a talented and experienced leader as Richard joining Dealertrack’s Canadian team,” said Collins. “Richard’s extensive management experience, coupled with his strong commitment to uncover opportunities through client and industry engagement, and his deep and versatile background within the Canadian financial services software market, make him the perfect person to lead our team.”
