Submission Deadline for F&I Digital Media Awards Extended
Program designed to spur friendly competition among digital marketers industrywide will accept entries until May 12.

TORRANCE, Calif. — Organizers of the inaugural F&I Digital Media Awards have extended the submissions deadline by two weeks to accommodate requests from numerous entrants. Dealers, F&I product providers, agents, OEMs and marketing agencies are welcome to submit entries until Friday, May 12.
Presented by F&I and Showroom and sponsored by F&I Express, the F&I Digital Media Awards will honor companies driving innovation in aftermarket product digital media. F&I Express CEO Brian Reed said the company is sponsoring the FIDMAS to inspire the aftermarket product industry to create more consumer-facing digital content for customers to educate themselves online. Producing more of such content is essential to meeting the needs of eight out of 10 people, who, per a Cox Automotive study, would be interested in learning about F&I products before entering the dealership, Reed noted.
“We are so excited about the level of engagement received from the F&I industry that we extended the deadline to offer every company a fair chance to compete,” he said.

Winners will be recognized at a special ceremony at Industry Summit, which will be held Sept. 11–14, 2017, at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center, in Dallas, Texas. The Grand Prize Winner also will be featured in an upcoming edition of F&I and Showroom.
