Bosch Debuts Virtual Assistant at NADA
‘Charlie’ is a new virtual service assistant designed to make dealership service faster while training techs in the process.
WARREN, Mich. — “Charlie,” the new virtual service assistant from Bosch, will debut at the 2018 NADA Show in Las Vegas this week. The new tool was designed to help dealers maximize customer satisfaction and efficiency in service bays.
Bosch aims to pilot Charlie with a forward-thinking OEM this fall to help with customer communication and retention, multipoint inspections, vehicle service and repair info, service labor management and more. This patent-applied-for dealership partner aims to bring a focused approach to all dealership services, including scheduled maintenance, collision repair, general repair, warranty processing and technician training, all according to the announcement.
Charlie lives in the Bosch BEST system, joining technicians via wireless headset, opening lines of communication between techs, service advisors, dealer systems and customers. Bosch will host live demonstrations for guests at Booth 2540C at the NADA show in Las Vegas, March 23–25, 2018, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
