SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.— Earlier this month, Keith Mahoney assumed the newly established role of chief development officer for CNA National Warranty Corp., the company announced. As CDO, Mahoney will work closely with the senior management team to evaluate, champion and execute strategic initiatives to drive CNA National’s market expansion and reinforce its position as an industry leader.

“It is with great pleasure that we welcome Keith as our first-ever CDO,” said Joe Becker, president and CEO. “His background and operational expertise will be invaluable in accelerating our plans for long-term growth.”

Mahoney has nearly two decades of leadership experience in the insurance and automotive industries. For the past 15 years, he served as a national director with The Warranty Group, where he developed organizational growth strategies, directed initiatives for change management and helped implement more effective corporate-wide processes. Mahoney also spent an earlier part of his career designing continuous improvement strategies for Honda.

“It’s energizing to join the dynamic team that helped build CNA National to national prominence and is now moving it forward,” Mahoney said. “I welcome the opportunity to contribute to the next phase of the firm’s evolution.”
