Datalogix Hires New VP of Automotive Client Partnerships
Stephen Dooley will manage and expand the DLX Auto client partnership team in Detroit and Los Angeles. He will focus on strengthening customer engagement, strategic partnerships and sales strategy.
WESTMINSTER, Colo. — Datalogix has hired Stephen Dooley, a longtime automotive industry sales leader, as vice president of client partnerships for DLX Auto.
Dooley brings sales relationships with major automakers and dealers through past positions with OutdoorHub, Jumpstart Automotive Group, Newsweek Detroit, Geocities, and US News and World Report. In his new position, he will oversee all relationships with the automotive OEMs, dealer groups, dealer associations, their advertising agencies, and other strategic partners in the auto industry.
"Very few people are as passionate about client relations and understand the marketing needs of the automotive industry as well as Steve does," said Joe Kyriakoza, General Manager of DLX Auto. "DLX Auto provides a unique service to automobile manufacturers, dealers and their agencies, and we're delighted that Steve is joining the team and leading our efforts to share the benefits of DLX Auto solutions across the industry."
Dooley will manage and expand the DLX Auto client partnership team based in Detroit and Los Angeles while strengthening customer engagement, strategic partnerships, and sales strategy. He will also continue to drive usage of the DLX Auto powered by Polk audiences, as part of DLX's industry exclusive relationship with R.L. Polk.
Prior to joining Datalogix, Dooley was President of Outdoor Hub Media, the largest vertical ad network of outdoor, action sport and agriculture enthusiasts online, where he helped grow the company from a start-up to more than $15MM in revenue. Before that, he was executive vice president of sales at Jumpstart Automotive Media, an automotive marketing organization providing revenue solutions ranging from ad sales to operations.
Before Jumpstart, Dooley ran ad sales for Newsweek magazine in Detroit, where he focused solely on the automotive industry, and he also led the Detroit office of US News & World Report magazine, where he successfully launched Fast Company and Family Fun magazines. Dooley served as Vice President of Sales for GeoCities through its sale to Yahoo!, and he began his career at Young & Rubicam advertising in Detroit working on the Lincoln-Mercury business. Dooley is a graduate of Michigan State University and currently lives in the Detroit area.
