Reynolds and Reynolds announced the launch of a new logistics tool designed to support dealership wholesale parts delivery operations.

As more dealership parts departments expand sales to local body shops, independent repair facilities, other dealerships, and retail customers, managing delivery efficiently has become increasingly important. The new tool is designed to help parts departments track and manage deliveries at scale, regardless of volume or customer type.

“It comes down to knowing where assets are and optimizing routes to reduce delivery time and inefficiencies,” said Jason Sideris, Reynolds vice president of product planning. “The goal is to improve oversight and simplify operations.”

Managing Wholesale Parts Delivery

The logistics tool includes a web-based dispatching application that allows dealerships to create delivery manifests, routes, tracking numbers, and bar-coded labels. Dispatchers can also monitor shipments through a real-time map that displays driver and vehicle locations.

The platform is intended to help parts departments reduce unnecessary driving time, improve route planning, and maintain visibility into parts inventory once it leaves the dealership.

Driver Tracking And Proof Of Delivery

In addition to the dispatching interface, the system includes a mobile application for drivers. The app tracks assigned routes, delivery stops and tasks, and includes built-in navigation. Proof-of-delivery features allow drivers to capture photos and signatures at drop-off.

“Dealerships often have significant inventory on the road with limited visibility,” Sideris said. “Knowing who has what and where it is improves accountability and helps move parts to customers faster.”

The tool is designed to scale with dealership operations and support wholesale parts delivery as a structured part of the business. Reynolds will showcase the logistics tool at its #2963W booth during the NADA Show.
