The Warranty Group Adds to Asia/Pacific Leadership Team
The underwriter, administrator and marketer of service contracts announces two leadership appointments to its Asia/Pacific team.
CHICAGO, Ill. — The Warranty Group Inc. made two leaderships appointments to its Asia/Pacific team. The underwriter, administrator and marketer of service contracts named Liqun Li as its new country manager of China, while Razak Shakor takes over as country manager for the company in Malaysia
Li joins the company from Dazhong Insurance Company, where he most recently served as deputy general manager, and brings more thanr 16 years of executive management experience. During his career, Li has become a well-respected expert in underwriting, reinsurance and risk management — both in the UK and Hong Kong.
Shakor joins the company from GroupMed Consultants, where he most recently served as executive director of risk management. He also worked for Johnson & Higgins/Marsh Insurance Brokers as a managing director for its Malaysian operations. Over the past 13 years, Shakor has specialized in risk management and insurance solutions for the manufacturing, telecommunications, and financial services industries, among others.

"Their proven track records in developing products and services that meet the needs of global clients strengthen our position in the China and Malaysia markets.
