TPC Management Adds Morton Auto Auction to Client Roster

TPC Management Company has added Morton Auto Auction to its client roster for strategic consulting services. TPC will work with the auction's management staff in identifying and developing national account business opportunities with commercial fleet lessors, car rental companies, banks, auto finance companies, manufacturers, and third party servicers.

"With further consolidation in the auto auction industry by the large auction chains, independent auctions like Morton continue to offer great value to national account consignors with the ability to provide excellent service and strong vehicle resale values," said Pierre Pons, president of TPC Management. "Many of the corporate auctions are located in major metropolitan areas, but with strong independents in secondary markets these national accounts can realize reduced expenses in transportation and reduced holding costs resulting from faster turnaround for sales.

"Sophisticated vehicle remarketing managers realize that there is tremendous dealer buying power in these smaller markets and that it makes sense to disperse large concentrations of vehicles in order not to dilute prices in one area," Pons said. "Using independent auctions is an effective part of an overall vehicle remarketing strategy in today's competitive automotive marketplace."

In addition to Morton Auction Auction, TPC also has similar strategic consulting agreements with Chattanooga Auto Auction in Chattanooga, Tenn., and Dealers Auto Auction of Nebraska in Lincoln, Neb. All are independently owned and operated, and offer services to institutional national account vehicle sellers.
