The National Automotive Finance Association is holding it’s 7th annual Non-Prime Auto Lending Conference at the Palmer House Hilton in Chicago, on June 18 to 20, 2003. This year’s program continues the tradition begun by the Association several years ago to include auto dealer content in the conference programming. The Association recognizes that the initial step in the auto sales financing transaction begins at the dealership, so programming that addresses dealer issues is important. The NAF association says its aim is to provide a conference that addresses all phases of non-prime auto financing.
The association says this year’s program has sessions developed that will be of particular interest to used car dealers, many of whom rely on non-prime financing to support sales. The popular speaker Joe Lescota, chairman, Automotive Remarketing at Northwood University will provide a comprehensive session on Dealer/Lender Relations. He will show that even with the instability of the new car market that opportunities exist for increased sales for the used car dealer.
