Hauppauge, NY — GrooveCar Inc. has announced that it signed a letter of agreement with the Eastern New York Federal Credit Union headquartered in Napanoch, NY.

Eastern New York FCU is the 21st credit union affiliated with GrooveCar, a supplier of automotive services and products, automobiles — for sale, lease or purchase — and motorcycles, off-road vehicles and boats. Further, Eastern represents GrooveCar’s first credit union in upstate New York; all of the others are in the metro New York region, on Long Island or in New York City.

Chartered in 1961, Eastern New York FCU (www.enyfcu.org) maintains offices in Woodbourne, Wallkill, Otisville and Napanoch serving a growing constituency in Sullivan and Ulster counties.

“We are clearly excited about being able to offer our members access to the GrooveCar buying support program, among others,” said Chris Langley, Eastern New York’s chief executive. “Our mantra is ‘small town banking…from the people you trust’ and this fits right into it.”

Much like the already existing relationships that GrooveCar maintains with its current complement of credit unions, the services and products being offered will enable Eastern’s members to get the best price, the best service and spend the least time in shopping for any automotive needs and wants.

“We, too, are excited to welcome Eastern New York’s credit union members,” said GrooveCar President David Jacobson. “Our mission is to ease the access to all automotive needs, including the highest level of customer service support.”
