Resource Automotive Names Tom Murray as President-COO

Resource Automotive, a unit of The Warranty Group Inc., named Tom Murray president-COO for all North American automotive operations. He previously served as president-COO of Resource Dealer Group.

CHICAGO - Resource Automotive, a unit of The Warranty Group Inc., named Tom Murray president-COO for all North American automotive operations. He previously served as president-COO of Resource Dealer Group.


"Since joining our company, Tom has continually demonstrated the ability to make a positive impact on our clients’ bottom lines and on the productivity of our sales organization. His leadership has been and will continue to be critical to the success of our growth initiative in North America," said Mark Mishler, president COO of The Warranty Group Inc.

Murray began his career in the retail automotive sector in 1983, joining Resource Dealer Group in 2000 and successfully holding the positions of district manager, area manager, account vice president, regional vice president and executive vp/national sales director.


"Murray's past contributions to our automotive clients and our company have continually received praise, and there is no doubt that Resource Automotive will continue to be the leader in North America under his leadership and direction," said David L. Cole, Chairman CEO of The Warranty Group Inc.
