DealerTrack Integrates DMS With KIA Motors

DealerTrack Systems Inc., a subsidiary of DealerTrack Holdings Inc., announced it has completed the integration of the DealerTrack Dealer Management System (DMS) with Kia Motors America’s Web-based dealer communications system.

LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y. — DealerTrack Systems Inc., a subsidiary of DealerTrack Holdings Inc., announced it has completed the integration of the DealerTrack Dealer Management System (DMS) with Kia Motors America’s Web-based dealer communications system.

With this integration, information now transfers seamlessly from one system to another without having to be re-keyed, enhancing efficiency and eliminating potential data errors. The transactions and communications supported include the dealer’s submission of financial statements, vehicle delivery reporting, parts orders, parts returns, and repair order warranty submission.

“We are very pleased to partner with Kia to provide full integration with its dealer communications platform, which should increase the appeal of the DealerTrack DMS to the more than 640 Kia dealerships across the United States,” said Rich Holland, vice president and general manager of DealerTrack DMS. “Kia dealers considering the DealerTrack DMS solution can now proceed with confidence that we can meet their technology needs, consistent with all OEM communication requirements. We look forward to offering them an efficient and highly economical DMS solution.”

“The integration between the DealerTrack DMS and Kia is saving our dealership a substantial amount of time on order inputs, parts department returns and warranty processing,” said Dan Lowder, parts manager at Doug Smith Kia in American Fork, Utah.
