PORTLAND, Ore. —Compli, a provider of workforce and compliance management software, appointed executive Lon Leneve as president & CEO, effective this month.
Leneve previously served as Compli’s president & CFO and has been with the company since 2003. Leneve succeeds Ken Thrasher as CEO, who is retiring from the company after eight years in the role. Thrasher will retain his position as Chairman of the Board.
"We are extremely fortunate to have a person of Lon’s knowledge, expertise and tenure succeeding me in the position of CEO. With a specialty in building strategic partnerships and opening new markets, Lon has extensive experience in helping expand the growth of sales and product offerings at Compli,” said Ken Thrasher, Compli Chairman of the Board.
“Lon’s dedication to understanding the needs of the market and his customer-centric focus have allowed Compli to develop leading workforce solutions to customer problems which have translated into well adopted, effective business applications in the markets we serve. Lon’s vision and leadership will help us grow the company as we add new markets to our business plan, and will also help as we continue to expand the scope of our product to meet the entire workforce requirements of all customers we serve," Thrasher added.
“This is an exciting stage in Compli’s evolution. I’m thrilled to succeed Ken and have the opportunity to help coordinate the Compli team to create and deliver ever better and broader workforce solutions,” said Leneve. “I’ve had the pleasure of working with Ken since 2003, and under his leadership we’ve created a new capability in workforce and compliance management that has given businesses the ability to gain confidence in how they manage compliance requirements and numerous other key workforce issues.
“In a sense we’ve created a new business discipline that I believe opens up immense business opportunities for Compli. I am greatly looking forward to working with our employees, clients and business partners to continue developing and delivering exciting new business tools,” Leneve concluded.
Leneve brings over 30 years of operational, business development, financial and administrative experience to his appointment at Compli. Prior to joining Compli, Leneve served in senior management roles in a variety of industries, including as president and COO of Copper Mountain Trust; president and CEO of Skylink Telecommunications; and vice president and treasurer of Americold Corporation.
He also spent several years providing merger, acquisition and turnaround consulting services to businesses in three different industries. He started his career with the international accounting firm KPMG. During Leneve’s seven year tenure with Compli, the company has grown significantly and has become the respected leader in workforce and compliance management software in the auto dealer segment.
